Subject: More Cop BS w/ videotape
I just wanted to see if we could get the latest video of us (Jan. ride). There is something I want to see if they edited out...
My roommate, Robert, (in his first CM participation) was riding down Medical Pkwy between 35th and 45th, when that "mysterious car" that kept following us for some unknown reason <yeah, right!> came up right behind him. I was right behind them both, watching. When, from out of nowhere, a siren came blasting!! I guess it was from that "mysterious car"! Anyway, Robert, started to move to the side (as anyone should when you hear a siren...) when those "SCUM" came racing up beside him, trying with their 2000lb+ car to push him to the side! These buttheads were literally about 2, maybe 3 inches from him! Me and some other guy started to hollar at the driver. The camera man got every frame of what was going on. He was all twisting around trying to get it all in. I asked just what in the hell he (driver Lansley, or whatever his name is) was trying to do! He said "he wouldn't move over quick enough", or "he was in the middle of the road", or some *LAME* excuse like that! I said "well, why don't you pull him over and give him a ticket instead of RUNNING HIM OVER!!!... I think a fine is more in order that a LIFE or PHYSICAL PAIN AND DAMAGE!!" Anyway, the "discussion" went on something like that for a few more meters,- him making lame, authoritative, non-logical, ego-dominated statements, and me and the other guy saying that running someone over or off the rode was not the answer and quite out of line!
Shall we start a betting pool to see if they edit this one out?? I'll bet a few links off my bike chain that they do! Anybody else in?? I think this would be a rather good, clear cut example of what and how they edit their videos.
